Heavy cotton in a washed, faded colour, cut boxy with dropped shoulders. Printed big on the back, about 24 × 34 cm, in sepia ink on light colours and bone ink on dark ones, captioned THE BRONCHIAL TREE in capitals, with its French name, Arbre bronchique. The plate is in the public domain, printed from the scan in the Wellcome Collection.
